If the Grenadier has a weakness it's in the center console display screen. Most of the time it's just fine but in bight sunlight the screen isn't bright enough to overcome the ambient light even at 100% brightness. One Grenadier viewer suggested the Grenadier could benefit from a OLED screen, and that's probably true. It could certainly use a few more MIPS in the display. But, since an OLED screen is probably out of the question I opted for a Black Sheep sunshade from Rough Road Equipment..

The first thing I saw when I opened the box is that it is very well-made, from a heavy gauge metal, perfectly powder-coated. Installing it easy, taking just a matter of seconds. The hardest part was peeling the plastic strip off the strip of double-sided tape. The sunshade snapped into place with no effort and fit perfectly. And it looks like it came from the factory.

Very easy to install. I have previously installed the black sheep roof platform and adding this was a snap.

At first, I thought the cupholders/boxes seemed expensive when I saw them online, but after using them in person I’m extremely happy I purchased them. They are rattle free and integrate, smartly into any L-trac system. They can be mounted on vertical or horizontal L-trac. The design is pretty genius and very secure. Once installed they do not rattle which was a big concern of mine. You have the option of installing some elastic cords in the boxes if you want to hold stuff tighter. The double boxes will fit two Yeti 20 ounce travel mugs or two 20 ounce sized Gatorade bottles. I installed the single boxes over the bed platform next to the USB outlets to hold our phones at night while charging.

I bought two so I could mount MaxTrax recovery boards on one side, and a folding shovel and axe on the other. They work perfectly well. Easy to install. Excellent workmanship. Really light and strong. They look much better than other options. I am super happy that RRE is an authorized dealer. Came in several days. I would have ordered from Switzerland, but glad to avoid that hassle.

Really impressed with this product . It arrived in a timely fashion and was a simple installation for one person. The quality is impressive and the finished installed look is perfect. The only drawback is it's a little pricey.
